Born in Sakito, Nagasaki, COZI HARADA returned to his home island after a long creative journey. Vivid blues, deep greens and the colours of flowers express his affinity with nature, his affection for animals and his hope for peaceful coexistence.
Memories of his beloved dog Charlie, encounters with the forests of Okinawa and imagined gardens of peace run through his paintings. Each landscape reflects his life and his appreciation of everyday moments.
Now working as head chef on his home island, he continues to explore painting and food as forms of expression. Discover his world at Horizon Castle, between the sea and the sky, from 3 April to 30 May 2027.
