Horizon Castle ("we") handles personal information received through stays, consultations and inquiries in accordance with the following policy.

1. Information we collect

Through the inquiry form we collect your name, e-mail address, telephone number, preferred dates and number of guests, and the content of your inquiry.

To prevent misuse of the form, we briefly process an identifier derived from your connection in a form that is hard to trace (a hash value).

For recruitment enquiries, we collect your name, contact details, area of interest, message and any relevant experience you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, contact you and carry out recruitment selection. Please see “How we handle application information” for details.

2. Purposes of use

To answer and follow up on inquiries, to contact you about stays and services, to improve our services and to prevent misuse. We do not use it for other purposes.

3. Disclosure to third parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

4. Service providers

We use external services for the following purposes and entrust them with data to the extent necessary: e-mail delivery (Resend), form abuse prevention (Cloudflare Turnstile) and temporary counting of submissions (Upstash). These providers may store data on servers outside Japan.

Reservations are handled by an external booking site. Please refer to that site's policy for how it handles personal information.

For the online shop, please refer to the shop's own terms.

5. Retention

Inquiry content is kept for as long as needed to respond and is then deleted appropriately. Abuse-prevention identifiers are deleted automatically within 24 hours.

6. Security

We take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access to, loss of or leakage of personal information.

7. Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

If you request disclosure, correction, suspension of use or deletion of your personal information, we will respond in accordance with the law after confirming your identity. Please contact us below.
